Geosparc Launches Online Store for webGIS Software Geomajas

Geosparc, the company professionally supporting the open source webGISsoftware Geomajas, is pleased to announce its online store for products and services related to the software.The online store is set up to make it easier for software developers of web- and cloud-based GIS applications tobuy off the shelf, fully tested and supported products enabling them to get to work more quickly and efficiently.The online store currently offers 12 products including Developer Licenses, Developer Support Packs andCommercial Licenses for Geomajas.

The Developer Licenses temporarily free the developers of Geomajas based webGIS applications from complying with AGPL terms & conditions. This enables them to work, during the course of a project, on a demo, proof of concept, development or testing of the application without having to share or release the software code.

The purpose of the Commercial Licenses is to enable developers to embed the Geomajas technology into their own software solutions and to be able to resell them to other parties or, for end-users, to use the technology in a closed environment.

Developer Support Packs are aimed towards webGIS developers that are looking for professional support for technical matters during development and/or when bringing an GIS application into production at the customer’s site.
