Orbit GT Releases Orbit GIS 10.1


Orbit GT today announces the availability of it’s core GIS engine Orbit GIS version 10.1. The update is immediately available for download and free for Orbit GIS 10.0 users.

“We are pleased to release this new version of Orbit GIS today”, says Peter Bonne, VP Business Development and Senior Product Manager at Orbit GT. “There are a lot of improvements in this version and I’m sure that our customers will be very happy with this free update from 10.0 to 10.1. Orbit GIS is now available for 32bit and 64bit Windows systems. Other platforms are to follow soon.”

Orbit GIS is the core GIS system on which all Orbit’s specialized extensions are built. The Orbit GIS technology is platform and network independent. Orbit GT was one of the first GIS technology companies to embrace 64bit processing and platform independent GIS.
