Building an Address Repository Using the FGDC Standard:  Implementing Quality and Data Sharing - The URISA Addressing Workshop has been substantially updated this year to include a more comprehensive guide to working with the recently adopted FGDC Address Data Standard.  Attendees will learn about the FGDC Address Data Standard, and how building an enterprise address repository using the Standard will improve address data quality and enable sharing of address data with other jurisdictions, state and federal agencies and the public.
Public Data, Public Access, Privacy, and Security: U.S. Law and Policy - As data distribution capacities increase, there is increasing tension between access to public records as a foundation of a free society, citizen expectations of confidentiality, and protection of public security.
