MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012 Fair has Free Admission


MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012, the largest event of geospatial industry in Latin America, taking place from May 29 thru 31 at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in Sao Paulo (SP), Brazil, has a fair of services and products with free admission.

The fair will feature the presence of multinational companies, through local representatives, such as Google Enterprise, Nokia, TomTom, Vexcel/Microsoft, Trimble, Topcon, Ruide, Hexagon, DigitalGlobe, RapidEye, Astrium, GeoEye, PCI, among others.

“We already have many of the leading industries operating in Brazil in the service area and all major national product distributors. We are currently negotiating with more international companies that wish to attend the event and learn more about the local market“, says Emerson Granemann, director and publisher of MundoGEO, organizer of MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica.

Thus, repeating the success of the first edition, that went on June 14 thru 16, 2011, MundoGEO#Connect 2012 is expecting to bring more than 10,000 professionals, including participants of the technical activities and other fair attendees, and people connected via social networks and online seminars, which are going to transmit approximately 10% of the event.

MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012 is the largest annual event in the area of geomatics and geospatial solutions in Latin America and will take place between May 29 and 31 at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in Sao Paulo (SP), Brasil. With the theme "Sharing information for a better world", the expectation is to bring together 10,000 people in the sector, between participants in the seminars, forums and courses, the expo visitors and people connected via webinar and social networks. The event is organized by MundoGEO, with the support of IBGE, Emplasa, Sao Paulo City Hall, Embrapa Satellite Monitoring, Ministry of Defense of Geographical Service, among others. The event features several courses, seminars and forums, plus a marketplace with more than 70 global brands such as Google, Trimble, Hexagon, Erdas, DigitalGlobe, Leica, RapidEye, Astrium, GeoMax, Topcon, among others. Internationally, the event has the support of OGC, CP-Idea, IPGH, ISPRS, GITA, Directions Magazine, GIM International, V1 Magazine, Professional Surveyor and Geo Connexion. The first edition of MundoGEO#Connect took place between June 14 and 16 of 2011 in Sao Paulo (SP), Brazil, bringing together over 7,500 people.
